We are happy to announce a special screening of “Victoria Park – A generation of bocce” will be held on Sunday, Oct 17th, 2010 at East Vancouver’s Rio Theatre. We will also have DVDs available for purchase before and after the show! We hope to see you there. Families are welcome.

Tickets $6, available at the door. Doors at 1:40pm, Show from 2-3pm.

In the News – Filmmaker rolls out story of bocce scene

Here is a recent Vancouver Sun article about Victoria Park. The last paragraph was disappointing to say the least, but the rest is ok:

July 12th, 2010 “Vancouver filmmaker Tracey Lebedovich first witnessed men playing bocce in Victoria Park while on maternity leave with her daughter Stella.

This “mysterious group of guys” was at the park whenever Lebedovich visited. They were playing the game they brought with them from Italy.”
